Microsoft’un İngiltere’deki mağazasında E sürümünden sonra N sürümlerininde fiyatları ortaya çıktı. Sürümler Windows 7 Home Premium N, Professional N ve Ultimate N olarak görülüyor.

Microsoft’un bu şaşırtıcı “N” sürümünü Avrupa Hukuku’nın taleplerinin ne kadar güçlü olduğunu anlıyoruz ve biraz tarihden ders çıkarıyoruz.

2004 yılına geri gittiğimizde Avrupa komisyonu Microsoft’a rekor ceza ile ?497m ceza kesmişti. Komisyon bu işletim sisteminin piyasada tekelleştiğini ve Windows Media Player için anti-rekabetçi olduğu kararına varmıştı.
